This week, Audi unveiled its newest “Activesphere” concept EV, an elegant and adaptable off-road crossover with augmented reality driving and the ability to convert into a pickup truck.
Did you take it all in? This electric car has a lot of ground clearance and was designed with off-roaders in mind. Although it resembles an SUV or crossover in appearance, people looking for adventure can convert the hatchback portion into a truck.
I adore the rugged appearance of this monster, despite the fact that it has crazy 22-inch wheels and insufficient rubber to be a reliable off-road vehicle. Along with all the EV components, a strengthened underbody and an adjustable suspension are located underneath.
Inside, it doesn’t resemble any other contemporary vehicle, and everyone may use augmented reality glasses to access content while the car is driving itself. Keep in mind that it is still only a notion, therefore it won’t occur anytime soon. Along with other specifications, Audi announced a range of 372 miles, 270kW of quick charging, and an 800V architecture.
Those specifications might seem familiar because they are a component of the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) system for electric cars that Audi and Porsche jointly developed.
