The Ioniq 5 EV will go on sale from Hyundai in India for an introductory price of Rs. 44.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
After the Kona Electric, the Ioniq 5 is Hyundai’s second electric vehicle. The Electric-Global Modular Platform serves as its foundation (E-GMP). The car had a wheelbase of 3,000 mm with dimensions of 4,635 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,625 mm in height.
The Ioniq 5 has an angular shape with a futuristic external style. It includes flush-fitting door handles, pixelated LED tail lights, dual LED headlamps, and unusual dual-tone alloys. The interior of the EV features a 2-spoke steering wheel and a dual floating screen in a basic design.
The Ioniq 5 has just one type with a 72.6 kWh battery pack available in India. It can travel 631 kilometres on a single charge, according to ARAI certification. The vehicle has a 350 Nm and 216 BHP rear-mounted electric motor. Additionally, the Ioniq 5 supports 800V fast charging, which can complete a 10-80% battery charge in 18 minutes.
