2023 Maruti EVX

The 2023 Maruti EVX Electric SUV has a range of 550 kilometres with a 60 kWh battery pack, which is a good compromise in terms of reducing range anxiety. Maruti might possibly release a more cheap version of the EVX for those on a tight budget. It will have a limited range of roughly 400 kilometres. BYD will supply the battery packs to Maruti. These will use LFP blade cell batteries, which are said to be superior in terms of range, power-to-weight ratio, and safety. Suzuki Motor Corporation has also committed INR 100 billion to the manufacturing of BEVs and batteries in India, according to Maruti.

The Maruti EVX electric SUV measures 4300 mm long, 1800 mm wide, and 1600 mm height. As a result, it will compete with the future Hyundai Creta EV. While official performance figures have not been released, the new Maruti electric SUV might produce between 138 and 170 horsepower. Suzuki’s Gujarat facility will produce both two-wheel and all-wheel drive models. However, it is unknown if all-wheel drive would be offered in India.
