Tata Motors unveiled two new concept vehicles in April of last year. Both ideas will be on display at the forthcoming Auto Expo 2023, providing the general public with their first look at Tata’s future EVs.
The Curvv idea foreshadows the brand’s second-generation EV architecture. The vehicle features a futuristic appearance, with an LED light bar spanning the front fascia, square-ish wheel arches, and low front and rear overhangs. The strong rear fascia includes an LED light bar, giving it a striking appearance.
The Curvv electric SUV concept’s interior is simple, featuring two displays and a novel 2-spoke steering wheel. It also has haptic HVAC controls rather than the more traditional buttons and knobs.

Tata’s second-generation EV design accommodates a variety of battery and electric motor combinations. The commercial model is expected to have a range of 400-500 kilometres on a single charge.
Tata Avinya is based on the company’s Gen 3 EV design. The new platform will give birth to an EV family, with the Avinya slated to join the market in 2025.
According to reports, the Gen 3 EV design will have next-generation networking and enhanced driver assistance technologies. The battery will be capable of ultra-fast charging, providing 500 kilometres of range in under 30 minutes.
