Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Group stated earlier this month that it is assessing future models for India, including the ID.4 and the Enyaq. While the latter has lately been observed testing around the country, new spy photos reveal the Enyaq EV.
The Skoda Enyaq was an unmasked test mule observed in Pune while it stopped at an EV charging outlet for a brief recharge. The Skoda Enyaq and Volkswagen ID.4 are expected to be released in the second half of 2023, based on the brand’s MEB platform.
The Skoda Enyaq spy images reveal a closed-off grille with a chrome surround, a redesigned front bumper with air curtains on both sides, a broad air dam, front door-mounted ORVMs, roof rails, dual-tone aero wheels, and a chrome window line. An integrated spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp, a shark-fin antenna, Skoda branding and a number plate recess on the boot lid, a dual-tone bumper with reflectors, a rear wiper and washer, and wraparound LED tail lights are predicted on the back.
The Skoda Enyaq EV is likely to include an all-black interior theme, a floating touchscreen infotainment system, a completely digital instrument cluster, a three-spoke steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, three-zone temperature control, and powered front seats. A 77kWh battery pack with two motors producing a combined output of 265bhp may power the car.
